Southern Vampires Coming Soon to a TV Near You

For fans of Charlaine Harris' "Southern Vampire" tales, you might already know about this...but maybe not. Renamed "True Blood", the TV series is set to hit HBO this fall. Anna Paquin ("X-men") will play Sookie Stackhouse. There's some goodies to be found over at the HBO site. While I can almost guarantee this show will not be for younger viewers, my guess is that it will be ok for older teens- but double check with your parents first as the books often contain some adult subject matter and I haven't personally yet seen the show to give my parental two cents (and as I'm not a parent to any but my own, always check with your parental units- don't get me in trouble!)
