According to an article from Wenn.com on the Internet Movie Database, Warner Bros. has decided to hold off on releasing "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" to next July. According to them, the writer's strike caused (obvious) delays and apparently there's more money to be made by waiting until next summer. I can't imagine that it really would make a difference- either you're going to see it in the theater or you aren't-time of year isn't going to make a difference. But I know I'm not happy having to wait until next July.
