PlayAways- A New Audiobook Device

My sister-in-law recently discovered PlayAway audiobooks at her local library and shared her discovery with me this past weekend. I had never seen anything like it before- it looks like a little Ipod player and is pre-loaded with one audio book. You can purchase them at the Playway website (prices are comparable, if not better, than CDs or tapes). They've been around for a couple of years (so either they're just catching on, or I'm out of the loop), but I think this might be the year it really takes off, given the fervor around Ipods and other MP3 players as of late. There are 100s of titles available- including bestselling authors like John Grisham, Nora Roberts- heck, they've even got Star Wars on a playaway. If you do decide to purchase them, be sure to sign up for their rewards program called Replay.
